"Covid19 and the consequent lockdowns on creative endeavours have affected artists all over the globe. During this period I had been looking at alternative ways of expressing myself and working with people and other artists. Completely by accident, or universal design, I came across a film of Juan and was entranced by the ritual process and performance. I reached out and fortunately Juan replied with a positive reaction to working together.
Right from the start there has felt to be a synchronistic connection and the pieces that we have created together have been an absolute pleasure to create. We termed this the Parallel Conexión, a parallel journey in which the distance between us was irrelevant. Personally, I am really pleased with the sounds and the way they worked together so easily.
